INTERVIEW & REVIEW / Cloaked in Fur By T.T. Walsh

Interview with T.F. Walsh

Do you have a specific writing style?

I’d have to say, crisp, roundly, and strong in lyric.

Is anything in your book based on real life experiences or purely all imagination?

The story itself is purely imagination, however the setting is in a real place. Brasov exists in Transylvania, Romania.

If you had to choose, which writer would you consider a mentor?

Hmm that’s a hard one, since I’ve learned from so many authors, from Richard Laymon to Laurel Hamilton and even to Maggie Stiefvater.

What book are you reading now?

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern.

What are your current projects?

Right now, I’m plotting book 2 of Cloaked in Fur. I’m also half way through a new young adult fantasy novel, which is made up of three parts about six characters. It is set a world filled with witches, steampunk monsters and magic, and at the heart of the story, there’s the struggle to find love.

Do you ever experience writer’s block? If yes, how do you get past it?

Definitely. It usually strikes when I’m stuck on a certain scene. A few days away from the project and then re-tackling the plot always does the trick.

Who designed the cover?

A very lovely designer at Crimson Romance - Stephanie Hannus

Do you have any advice for other writers?

Join a writing group or find critique partners or both. It will really help you grow as a writer.

Do you have a day job as well?

Unfortunately, I doJ I work in marketing during the day, mainly on social media.

If you had to go back and do it all over, is there any aspect of your novel or getting it published that you would change?

In all honesty, despite the fact that I took quite a few long paths, I wouldn’t change a thing. I’ve learnt a lot along the way, and gaining that sort of knowledge is invaluable.

What is your Astrological Sign, do you feel it fits you?

Virgo – I’d have to say yes. I’ve been told I’m a perfectionistJ

It’s Your Life…What actress would you have play you in a movie about your life? Why?

Reese Witherspoon. I don’t why, but she tends to play down to earth characters who aren’t perfect but never give up. And Legally Blonde does not apply hereJ

Coffee, Tea or Soda?

Tea: either English breakfast or earl grey

What is your favorite Cartoon Character?

Little Mermaid

If you could be any Paranormal creature, what would you be?

It’s a toss between a wolf and a domestic cat. Both have so many prosJ

Is there anything that you would like to say to your readers and fans?

I hope everyone who reads Cloaked in Fur enjoys the story as much as I loved writing it.

Werewolf – full moon
Paranormal - supernatural
Romance – ever after
Thank you so much for stopping by today. Best of luck to you and much success.

Cloaked in Fur is a great short read for 18+ readers. The story flows well, it kept me hanging on every word. T.F. put a great story together about a new kind of "wulf". It was easy to imagine each scene, which in some cases was not so pleasant, lol...like I said werewolf and dead people...it is not supposed to be pretty! The book ended well and I am hoping that there is another one coming out! <3 font="">
