My Review:

I had not yet read book 1 the Soul Sisters, so I bought it from Amazon and started there. I liked the story of Ani and Dana. I think Janiera put a nice twist on the Vampire creation. This series is mild in adult content but still has a little spice to it. I found myself laughing a lot at the humor throughout both books. I didn't much care for the bouncing back and forth through time in Soul Sisters, though I did like having the back story on the character, I just wish it was done a different way. The books are written in many different points of views and it is sometimes hard to keep up with who is telling you the story.
Even though Ani and Dana are twins; they of course have different personalities, and I couldn't pick either as a favorite. Dana is more reserved, but will speak her mind when it is necessary with a good humor about her. Ani, well she is strong willed and will not put up with any crap. She is very protective of those she cares about and likes men a lot. I loved getting to know them more and watch them grow in Dark Expectations.
As far as the guys I would have to say that Christian is my fav. He is the main werewolf. He is always there for them and very cute and sweet, with a English accent. I wouldn't mind taking him home with me!! :)
There was a good plot, great humor, and a little romance going on. All in all I liked the stories and I would like to read book 3 when it comes out. However I did notice a few typos in both books, and the end of each book just kind of stop. I feel there could have been maybe a sentence or paragraph to bring it all to a proper closing. When it ended I was confused and thought maybe there was a missing page or something.

Intervew:

When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?
When I first got ill with mononucleosis and writing was therapeutic and the only thing that calmed my syster, I knew right then I wanted to write forever.

How long does it take you to write a book?
The longest it’s taken me to write a book is two months. The editing and marketing period takes way longer (and is not my favorite part of the process).

What would you say is your interesting writing quirk?
I’m not sure if it’s interesting or just strange but, I have to have a drink when I sit down to write. There is really no reason for that but there has to be a drink waiting for me to pick up anytime I’m ready to write.

Where do you get your information or ideas for your books?
I’m a big book reader and movie lover so I’m constantly immersing myself in both of those avenues to come up with my ideas. My love for vampire books is why I decided to write about them and throw a unique spin on it.

What do you like to do when you're not writing?
I’m such a boring girl but reading or seeing a good movie can make me happy anytime!
What was one of the most surprising things you learned in creating your books?
Editing is my enemy. I’m more of a first draft kind of girl. However, editing must be done!

Why did choose to create paranormal books?
I plan to create many different books with different genres. However, I started with paranormal because it is my favorite to read and I love all things paranormal!

As a child, what did you want to do when you grew up?
A psychologist; strange kid right? However, I went to college for business and ended up dropping out due to an illness and becoming a writer. Children’s dreams are so sweet and innocent. I really wanted to solve the world’s problems. Who knew that job was so complicated! LOL

Have you already started book 3? When do you hope to have it published?
There are some people who might cut me after this answer but I have not started on book 3 yet. I’m working on a few other projects right now that I’m really in love with it. I’m not forgetting about the Soul Sisters trilogy through, it should be released by the end of 2013.
